Resident sales associates and broker associates need 30 hours of continuing education per renewal. Resident brokers also need 30 hours. Non-resident associates and brokers need 8 hours. Inactive licensees have no CE requirement.

No. Inactive licensees have no CE requirement. However, any CE not completed on your most recent inactive renewal is required before you can return to active status.
Residency is based on your brokerage's location. If you're affiliated with an Oklahoma-based brokerage you're a resident; if you're affiliated with an out-of-state brokerage (and hold an active license in another state where you complete your CE) you're a non-resident.
New agents licensed as Provisional Sales Associates must complete 45 clock hours of post-license education before their provisional license expires — separate from the ongoing CE cycle.
You submit it to OREC yourself — OREC requires every active licensee to submit proof of course completion as part of renewal. When you finish a course, download your certificate of completion from the LevinsonEDU student portal, then log in to OREC's License Portal (orec.us.thentiacloud.net) and upload it. OREC publishes a step-by-step guide, "How to Upload Completed CE Courses." If your CE isn't submitted in time for renewal, OREC changes your license to Lapsed status, so upload each certificate as you finish instead of waiting for your deadline.
